Enable New Zealand manages housing modifications for ACC under the National Housing Modifications Service (NHMS) contract.

Enable New Zealand receives referrals from ACC Client Services Staff once an OT Housing Assessor has completed an assessment and report on the clients needs and environment. This report forms the basis of the design for the housing modifications managed by Enable New Zealand. We ensure that the design work is undertaken in a timely manner and will fully involve the client, property owner, OT Housing Assessor and ACC. Once final approval is provided for the agreed design for the housing modifications, Enable New Zealand will project manage the building work meeting agreed set timeframes and keeping the client and ACC fully up to date on progress.
