Graduate Diploma in Education (Disability Support)
Supportlinks is proud to be supporting four Staff - Jo Martin, Raewyn Cameron, Sharyn McKenna and Martin Kawana, enrolled in the above course through distance learning study at Auckland University .
The programme is an initiative of the Ministry of Health, Health & Disability Service Directorate. The programme is eight courses at Level 7 on the NZ Qualifications Framework.
The programme entails approximately 18 hours of study per week during semester time. The qualification will take two years to complete.
Special features of the programme include:
- Four courses per year
- Professional placements in NASC organisations approved by Disability Services
- A residential winter school on campus
- Cross-organisational dialogue between participants
- Professional supervision provided by regional supervisors
