How Enable New Zealand is governed

Enable New Zealand is governed by the MidCentral District Health Board (MidCentral DHB), a Crown entity. The Enable New Zealand Governance Group oversees our strategy and operations. Our General Manager is a member of the MidCentral DHB Executive Leadership Team.

We report to MidCentral DHB Board

As an operating division of MidCentral DHB, Enable New Zealand is accountable to the public and the Crown. We undergo annual external financial auditing by the Office of the Auditor General, and take part in the internal audit processes required of all District Health Boards.

We operate under MidCentral DHB Board (the Board) delegations and policies and are accountable to the Board through the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Enable New Zealand Governance Group oversees our operations

The Board established the Enable New Zealand Governance Group (Governance Group or ENZGG) to monitor our performance, assess strategic issues and give the Board advice and recommendations. The Governance Group endorses our reports to the Board.

As at October 2017, Governance Group members are:
