Returning ACC and Whaikaha equipment issued by Enable New Zealand
Please return any ACC or Whaikaha - Ministry of Disabled People equipment you don’t use or need anymore. You can return the equipment yourself. Or we can collect it from your home or hospital.
If you’re not sure whether to return the equipment, please check with your occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or other health professional.
Where to return equipment
You can take the equipment to an Enable New Zealand warehouse in:
- Palmerston North and Hamilton in the North Island, or
- Wigram in the South Island.
Equipment collection requests
To ask for equipment to be collected, please contact us. Or use our online form below. We’ll arrange for our freight company to collect it. There is no charge for this service.
Did you know?
We clean and reissue equipment if it’s still in good condition. This means that ACC and the Whaikaha - Ministry of Disabled People saves money. And more people with disabilities who meet the criteria for ACC or Whaikaha - Ministry of Disabled People funding can get the equipment they need.
