Itemised Supplier Quote
Your Wheelchair and Seating Assessment Report
Why do we require a Specification Form?
It is Enable’s expectation that a specification form is completed as part of your initial wheelchair and seating assessment to identify the PWC features that will meet your client’s injury-related needs.
Your proposed PWC solution should be specification focused – not product or supplier focused.
Following completion of the specification form:
Check whether any ACC List options will meet the required specifications
Send the form to suppliers and request that their quotes align with the specifications you have outlined. This avoids specifying beyond the client’s needs, and ensures all suppliers work from the same information, enabling accurate and consistent comparisons.
ACC and Clinical Services Advisors use Enable NZ’s ACC PWC Specification Form to confirm the quote is correct and that it aligns with the clinical rationale identified in the assessment, for the prescribed power functions and accessories.
