Multi-factor authentication for ProWorkflow


After setting up multi-factor authentication, you will be asked to enter a code each time you login. This code will be displayed in your Authenticator app.

Setting up MFA for Proworkflow

Use this guide to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for ProWorkflow. Follow the steps in order and keep your phone with you during setup. We recommend that you use the Microsoft Authenticator app.

    Install an Authenticator app

    • On your mobile device, open the App Store or Google Play Store and install Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Authy, or Duo Mobile on your phone. (Enable NZ supports and recommends that you use the Microsoft Authenticator app).

    • Once installed, open the app so it is ready for setup.

    Log in to ProWorkflow and access MFA settings

    • Open the ProWorkflow app and enter your usual login details.

    • Once logged in, select Profile.

    • In the new pop-up, select the Security section.

    • Under "Two Factor Authentication", select the button that says "Set up 2FA".

    QR code displayed

    A QR code will appear on screen. This links your account to your authenticator app.

    Scan the QR code

    • Using the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone, open the QR code scanner using one of these methods:

      • select the + button and choose "Other account"

      • or select the QR code button.

    Enter verification code

    • Enter the 6-digit code shown in your app into ProWorkflow.

    • Select "Confirm" or "Verify".

  6. Finished!


Recovery Options

If you have lost, or don’t have access to your authentication device for any reason, select the ‘Lost Your Mobile Device’ button.

An email will be sent to your recovery address with a link to reset your profile's MFA.

From there, sign in to your account as normal, and a QR code will be presented after the login screen.
