We know that getting the right support quickly can make a big difference. Our new live website chat is here to make things easier for you.

Everyone has different preferences when it comes to getting in touch. Some people like to call, others prefer email. Now, if you’re someone who likes to get a quick answer straight away without leaving our website, our webchat is ready to connect you.

“The webchat lets you talk directly with our Contact Centre team while you’re online. Our team can share links to forms and information, answer questions, and point you in the right direction—all in one conversation.”

How it works

Using webchat is easy: it’s the orange ‘chat bubble’ in the bottom-right of our website. This chat bubble will show on every page on our website.

  • Select the orange chat bubble to open the web chat and see a welcome message. If you’re using a screenreader or similar accessibility software, you’ll find the web chat as Messenger. If you’re navigating using your keyboard, find ‘Open Messenger’ as the final item in the ‘tab order’ or ‘DOM order’.

  • Select the ‘Message us’ button when you’re ready to start a conversation (labelled as ‘Message us - Click to start the new conversation’ for screenreaders).

  • Our bot will ask a few questions to help make the conversation smoother, then we’ll connect you with one of our friendly team. There might be a bit of a delay while our team members finish other conversations.

That’s it! No downloads, no extra steps.

Coming back to your conversation

To help make things even easier, your message history will be saved if you move pages, close the chat pop-up, or even if you leave our website and come back later!

You can choose to remove that conversation history on your computer by clicking the rubbish bin icon, labelled ‘Clear and leave your conversation’. This is a great option if you’re on a shared computer or just want to start a fresh conversation.

(The conversation history will still be saved in our internal systems for security and support reasons, but no longer visible to you or anyone else using your computer.)
