Updating ACC MRES assessor details for better data

Clinical assessors working in the ACC Managed Rehabilitation Equipment Service (MRES) app needed to re-register their details with us before Wednesday 1 October 2025.
This is part of our ACC and Enable New Zealand continuous improvement partnership.
Re-registration for assessors
This re-registration was needed because of updates we have made to the ACC MRES app. These updates will help us and ACC understand how equipment is being used, make it easier to manage the range and cost of items we supply, and improve the quality of our data.
Specifically, we’ve added the function to allow assessors to note the organisation they represent, and contract services that they support ACC clients through. You can learn more about these contract services on the ACC website. Adding these services, and updating other details like organisation and role, helps ACC with their decision-making and planning.
Removing inactive accounts
On Friday October 3, we will begin deactivating the accounts of any MRES assessors who haven’t completed the re-registration form. This is based on the reasonable assumption that they are no longer actively using the platform.
MRES assessors who haven’t yet completed the form were notified this morning (Wednesday 1 October) of the upcoming deactivation. They have been given a final opportunity to re-register before 5pm on Thursday 2 October.
Assessors for ACC MRES can use this link to complete the online re-registration form: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/mres-rereg-2025.
Tidy systems for better results
As New Zealand’s largest disability and recovery equipment and advice provider, Enable New Zealand is committed to developing tidy, efficient, and up-to-date systems. This work includes removing inactive users and ensuring we have accurate details for current users.
We thank assessors - past and present - for their work supporting ACC clients and enabling everyday lives for our injured community.
